Digital Innovation Kit

Our Innovation Kit enables employees and teams to carry out innovation processes independently and successfully

Use cases

The J2C Digital Innovation Kit enables the bundled and structured access to new knowledge in the company, the concrete application for existing projects as well as the establishment of a uniform approach to innovation projects throughout the company.

Knowledge building on innovation processes and methods

With our online platform, employees* can build up knowledge about innovation methods and processes from anywhere at any time. With videos, text and tests, employees have the opportunity to acquire important competencies for the development of user-centered solutions step by step at a self-determined pace.

Concrete application along an existing project

Get a grip of the innovation chaos with the help of the Digital Innovation Kit. A thorough understanding of the team’s approach and methods in the innovation project ensures goal-oriented work even in complex environments. In addition to orientation along an established process, the Digital Innovation Kit offers structured work templates with models and methods for direct application.

Establishment of a company-wide innovation process

There is pressure and potential for innovation in every company. Use the Digital Innovation Kit for 10 – 10,000 employees* to ensure a consistent application of innovation processes and methods. Through the company-wide empowerment you will raise the innovation potential of each employee* and generate structured solutions with a focus on the user.

Content and background

With our Field Guide, a collection of easy-to-use work templates and clear instructional videos, we share our knowledge on how to approach and apply corporate innovation. We use different methods from the agile start-up world, be it Design Thinking, Lean-Startup and Business Modelling. This essence of project experience in companies and methodological knowledge can be found in our J2C Digital Innovation Kit.

The Digital Innovation Kit is divided into three complementary modules

Getting Started

In this module you will be introduced to the basics of agile and human-centered design and the mindset behind agile team collaboration. You’ll learn how to prepare and set up sprints, as well as receive the materials you need to work with your team on a project. This chapter consists of introductory sections and two methods you can use to define your design challenge and support team collaboration.

Problem Finding

In this module you will find steps and methods to gain insight into the users and define the problem or need you will focus on in your challenge to develop ideas. The three stages of problem identification are the main activities in this phase: Exploring the challenge, people-centered research and problem definition. Each of these activities consists of different steps. And in each step there are several methods you can apply. The opening pages of the sections work like a roadmap to give you an overview of the activity steps and the methods you can choose.

Problem Solving

This module helps you develop ideas to solve your defined problems and to involve your users in the development process. The three stages of problem solving – idea development, prototype and test – are the main activities in this phase. Together, they enable you to create a visible and measurable result that you can evaluate and learn from. Evaluation and learning are the key to understanding how to proceed with your project in the next sprint. That’s why we explain the concept of iteration in the Field Guide to remind you that the process is continuous. There will always be new things to learn and improvements to make.
